RACL1506, 175.9 Ton Capacity, 5.91 in Stroke, Aluminum Lock Nut Hydraulic Cylinder
RACL1506
RACL-Series Lightweight, Lock Nut Hydraulic Cylinders are single-acting, spring return, and include a lock nut for safe mechanical load holding. They are lighter than steel equivalents for improved portability.
RACL-Series Aluminum Cylinders include a lock nut that gives the reassurance of safe mechanical load holding for extended periods. Each cylinder is single-acting with a high-strength return spring for rapid retraction. The integral stop ring prevents plunger over-travel. All are equipped with bolt-on hardened steel saddles and a steel base plate for increased durability.
Enerpac RACL Lock Nut Aluminum Hydraulic Cylinders can change the way you think about your cylinder applications. With approximately half of the weight of equivalent steel models, they combine an impressive power to weight ratio with the convenience of easier transport and positioning. RACL cylinders are rated for 10,000 psi (700 bar) and comply with ASME B30.1.
Aluminum is not only lightweight, but also inherently less corrosive than steel, which makes it a great material for use in many caustic environments. For enhanced protection, Enerpac RACL Aluminum Cylinders are finished with an anodized hard coat finish to resist damage and extend cylinder life.
Aluminum Lock Nut provides mechanical load holding for extended periods
Hardened steel stop ring increases cylinder life and resistance to side-loads of up to 5%
Hard coat finish on all surfaces resists damage and extends cylinder life
Composite bearings increase cylinder life and side load resistance
Handles included on all models
Steel base plate and saddle for protection against load-induced damage
Integral stop ring prevents plunger over-travel and is capable of withstanding the full cylinder capacity
High-strength return spring for rapid cylinder retraction
CR400 coupler and dustcap included on all models
All cylinders meet ASME B-30.1 standards
